Frequently asked questions
Which FSSAI licence do I need?
Basic registration covers turnover up to ₹12 lakh. A State licence covers turnover above ₹12 lakh up to ₹20 crore. A Central licence applies above ₹20 crore and to importers, exporters and certain other activities.
My FSSAI licence has expired. What now?
Once the renewal window closes, the licence cannot be renewed and a fresh application has to be filed. Stop food operations until the new licence is issued and contact us right away.
Is Udyam registration free?
Yes, there is no government fee. It needs the Aadhaar of the owner and the PAN and GSTIN of the business, where applicable.
